Welcome to the Hall of Fame! This section is dedicated to our athletes who made great achievements – from representing Australia internationally to being accepted to perform with Cirque Du Soleil!
Veronica, Tara & Jess
2004
Veronica, Tara and Jess is one of Australias most successful Acrobatic Gymnastic groups. The trio represented Australia at the 2004 Acrobatic Gymnastic World Championships in Lievin, France and achieved an outstanding second place world ranking. They have since been recognised as World Class Gymnasts by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) for their achievement.
Veronica
2004 / 2005
After achieving a silver medal at the World Championships, Veronica, along with her team, were invited to compete at The World Games 2005 – an Olympic style event for non-Olympic sports. Whilst in the midst of training, Veronica was accepted into the Cirque Du Soleil show Quidam. Being her lifelong dream, Veronica jumped at the opportunity and was cast as a flier in the acrobatic act Banquine.
Kate Melissa & Shani
2010
Kate, Melissa and Shani represented Australia at the 2010 Acrobatic Gymnastic World Championships in Wroclaw, Poland. Competing at the World Championships was a life-long dream for all three acrobats – the trio came away with a 12th place world ranking.
Gabby, Tiffany & Masha
2012
Gabby, Tiffany and Masha represented Australia at the 2012 Acrobatic Gymnastic World Age-Group Championships in Florida, USA. The girls competed in the International 12-19 Age Group division and ranked 11th on the world stage out of a tremendous 31 groups. They were also reserves for the finals.
Emily, Shani & Krystal
2012
Emily, Shani and Krystal represented Australia at the 2012 Acrobatic Gymnastic World-Age Group Championships in Florida, USA. The trio competed in the International 12-19 Age Group division, alongside the trio of Gabby, Tiffany and Masha. With each federation only allowed to supply two groups per level and category, the selection of both trios for the only two available spots was a great achievement for Robertson Gymnastics Academy.
Odyssey – Australia’s Got Talent
2012-2014
Odyssey was our performance group consisting of 13 of our senior acrobats, lead by Head Coach Yuriy Stepchenkov and choreographer Olena Stepchenkov. The group performed on Australia’s Got Talent in 2012 and made their way to the Live Grand Final. The troop also performed as part of LumiAir– a cirque extraordinaire show featuring on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Odyssey also performed twice in the Annual Myer Christmas Parade in Brisbane City.
Tianye, Laura & Oceane
2014
Tianye, Laura and Oceane represented Australia at the 2014 Acrobatic Gymnastic World Age-Group Championships in Levallois, France. The trio competed in the 12-18 Age Group division, ranking 13th out of 35 groups. The girls were also first reserves for the finals.
Amy, Lizzy & Elodie
2014
Amy, Lizzy and Elodie represented Australia at the 2014 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships in Levallois, France. The girls not only qualified for the finals, but ended up placing sixth on the world stage. The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has since recognised the trio as World Class Gymnasts. The trio was also involved in our Australia’s Got Talent performance group Odyssey.
Laura, Emily & Oceane
2016
Laura, Emily and Oceane represented Australia at the 2016 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Age-Group Championships in Putian, China. The trio competed in the 13-19 Age Group division, and placed as second reserves for the finals.
Cassiel, Liam, Jake & Lachlan
2016
Cassiel, Liam, Jake and Lachlan were the first International Senior Men’s Group to be formed within Australia. The group represented Australia at the 2016 Acrobatic Gymnastic World Championships in Putian, China, finishing as first reserves for the finals.
Elodie
2016
After fulfilling her goal of competing at Acrobatic Gymnastic World Championships, Elodie set a new aim of performing for Cirque Du Soleil. In 2016, Elodie was accepted to perform in the water based Cirque Du Soleil show, ‘O’, in Las Vegas, USA. Elodie was cast in the acrobatic act La Barge.
Cassiel, Liam, Jake & Adrian
2017
Cassiel, Liam, Jake and Adrian represented Australia at The World Games 2017 – an Olympic style event for Non-Olympic sports. The World Games is the highest level of competition achievable in Acrobatic Gymnastics and is by invitation only. The boys finished in 6th place and were honoured to have represented Australia at such a prestigious event. Competing at The World Games was a great achievement both for the sport of Acrobatic Gymnastics and Australia – this was the first time the continent of Australia had been represented in the Men’s Group category at this event.
Bronte, Abbey and Maddy
2018
Bronte, Abbey and Maddy represented Australia at the 2018 World Age-Group Championships in Antwerp, Belgium. The trio competed in the International 11-16 Age Group category and placed 18th out of a massive 36 groups.
