Last night, at the Gymnastics Queensland Annual Awards Dinner, Robertson Gymnastics was named the 2019 Club of the Year! πŸŽ‰ We are absolutely astounded at this result! Thank you to all our members and coaches for your hard work and amazing results throughout last year to make this possible.

Robertson Gymnastics was also awarded the ‘2019 Coaching Team of the Year’ and ‘2019 Performance Club of the Year’ for both Acrobatic Gymnastics and Trampoline disciplines. πŸ† We were also recognised as one of the host clubs of competitions for 2019.

Our athletes and coaches also picked up a tremendous amount of awards:

Congratulations to all our athletes that competed at the 2019 Vegas Acro Cup! Our athletes all had a great time and gained lots of experience – the event featured 1100 competitors, across 18 different countries! Two of our groups made finals, with our International Senior Trio of Asha, Talia and Caliese finishing in 6th place, and our International 13-19 Age-Group Men’s Pair of Luke and Cooper in 2nd! Our athletes also had the privilege of watching the Acro World Cup which featured some of the world’s best seasoned national representatives. Safe to say, they all had a wonderful trip.

We had a wonderful night last night at the Annual Gymnastics Queensland Awards night. Robertson Gymnastics picked up multiple awards with our Academy venue winning ‘2018 Acro Performance Club of Year’ and ‘2018 Acro Coaching Team of the Year’!

Our International Acro 11-16 Age Group Trio of Maddy, Abbey and Bronte were also presented the ‘2018 International Acrobats of the Year’ award. This award follows the girls’ Australian representation at the 2018 Acro World Age Group Competition in Antwerp, Belgium.

Robertson Gymnastics was also recognised for reaching a new milestone of having over 1500 registered members in 2018.

We had some fantastic results on Sunday at the Trampoline Interclub #4! Not only did everyone tumble cleanly, we also had some podium finishes. Kailah placed 3rd in Level 3A, Ryan placed 2nd in Level 3, and Kieran placed 3rd in Level 5! Fantastic work also from Sierra and Samia – coach Alex is very proud!
